Classes are FREE, but you need to purchase all materials from Moody Beads on the day of the class.

A minimum of 3 people per class is required for the class to take place, please register at the latest 2 days before the class.

Bead Basic Class Description:

Bracelets:

Elastic Bracelet:  

Create a stretchy bracelet with your own bead selection, no clasp needed!

Materials: You purchase the beads and elastic needed for this class.

Beaded Charms Chain Bracelet:

Learn how to hang your selection of beads using a loop with coil, on your choice of chain.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Elastic Band Watch:

Create 2 interchangeable elastic watch bands to attach to your choice of watch face and beads.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Bracelet:

Create a bracelet with your selection of beads, this class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing wire.

3 Strand Memory Wire Bracelet:

Create a 3 strand bracelet using crystals, seed beads and 3 hole bars. This class will cover basic such as cutting memory wire to size and looping the ends.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and wire.

Sterling Silver Curbed Tube Bracelet:

Create a bracelet using sterling silver curbed tubes, and your choice of beads. This class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Easy Bracelet and Matching Ring:

Create an easy 2 strands bracelet and a matching ring with your choice of seed, glass and crystal beads. This class will cover basics such as crimping and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Wire and Beads Crochet Bracelet:

You will learn the double steps to crocheting with wire, as well as finishing off your necklace with hand made wire coil bead caps and a hand made clasp.
Materials: You purchase the beads, wires and tool.

Double Bracelet or Choker Necklace:

Using seed beads, bugles, cotton cord, wire and stones, you will create a double bracelet that can be worn as a choker as well. This class will cover leather crimping, and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Earrings:

Basic Earrings:

Create 3 pairs of earrings with your choice of beads, this class will cover basics such as looping and adding the findings.

Materials: You purchase the beads and findings.

Drop Earrings:

Create 2 pair of drop earrings one wire and one with beading wire, this class will cover basics such as creating a bail, crimping and adding the findings.

Materials: You purchase the beads, chain and findings.

Small Chandelier and Chain Earrings:

Create 2 pair of earrings one chandelier and one chain, this class will cover basics such as looping and adding the findings.

Materials: You purchase the beads, chain and findings.

Tassel Earrings, Level 2:

Learn how to create you own tassel earrings with your choice of small chain and beads. Once you know how to create tassels you could add them to your purse, cellphone or even your bracelet. This is a level 2 class, you need to know how to do the loop to hang the beads on the chain, as we will not cover this is the class.

Materials: You purchase the beads, chain and findings.

Bead Ball Earrings, Level 2:

Learn how to create 2 different bead balls, using your choice of beads and crystal. Once you know how to create bead balls you can use them as the main feature on a necklace or bracelet. This is a level 2 class, you need to know how to do the loop to hang the beads for the rest of the earring, as we will not cover this is the class.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Hammered Earrings, Level 2:

Learn the basic of wire hammering by creating 2 different pairs of earrings. This is a level 2 class, you need to know how to do the loop to hang the wire on the earring hook, as we will not cover this is the class.

Necklaces:

Necklace:

Create a necklace with your selection of beads, this class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing.

Bead Rows and Chain:

Create a long necklace with your choice of beads and chain. In this class you will learn looping, crimping and adding a chain.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and chain.

3 Knotted Strands with Beads Necklace:

Create a 3 strands light weight necklace by knotting the beads in place with your choice of stringing material and beads. This class will cover leather crimping, knotting, and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing.

Beads and Wire Necklace, level 2:

Create a necklace with your choice of beads and wire, in this class you will learn how to refine your technique in order to use gauge 26 wire. You will need to already know how to do the wire coiling and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and wire.

Double stranded Knotted Silk Cord Necklace:

Make a knot in your silk cord to separate a small cluster of glass beads, learn what findings to use to close a silk cord necklace.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and silk cord.

Chain and Stone Short/Long Necklace:

Create a short/long necklace with your choice of chain and semi precious stones, this class will cover wire coiling, bead wrapping and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and chain.

Floating Stringing Wire Necklace:

Create a necklace using crimps to space out your choice of beads along the stringing wire. This class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Wire Jig linked Necklace:

Construct chain links with the help of a jig and your choice of coloured copper wire. Incorporate beads between the links to create a flowing necklace to your preferred length. Also create you own clasp using the same wire.

Materials: You will need to purchase the wire, the beads, the caps and the findings.

3 Strand Twisted Wire Necklace:

Twisted your choice of beads with the your choice of coloured wire to create a front piece of a necklace. Complete the necklace with your choice of suede for a more comfortable neck brace. This class will cover basics such as suede crimping, wire looping and coiling and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings, suede and wire.

Stone wrapping Necklace:

Create interchangeable wrapped pendants, learn  how to wrap a non drilled stone with wire in order to create a pendant.  This class will cover basics such as, suede crimping, stone wrapping and bail creating and adding a clasp.

Simplified Necklace:

Use crimps and your imagination to hang 3 to 6 beads of stringing wire, no coping the instructor here! Need to know how to use crimper pliers.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Wire and Beads Crochet Necklace:

You will learn the simple first steps to crocheting with wire, as well as finishing off your necklace with hand made wire coil bead caps and a hand made clasp.
Materials: You purchase the beads, wires and tool.

Hammered Wire Links with Stone Necklace, Level 2:

Create a wire and stone long necklace by learning this easy free hand wire link. This is a level 2 class, you need to know how to loop and coil the wire when adding the beads in between the links, we will not cover this in the class.

Materials: You will need to purchase the wire and the beads.

Hemp Knotting Necklace:

Create a hemp necklace by knotting it and adding beads.

Materials: You will need to purchase the hemp and the beads.

Wire Branches Necklace Set:

Create a tree branch effect necklace and earrings using your choice of wire and beads. This class will cover basics such as suede crimping, wire looping and coiling and adding a clasp.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings, suede and wire.

Misc:

Crystal and Glass Ring:

Create 1 rings with seed, glass and crystal beads using monofilament thread. In this class you will learn how to close the ring.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Bead and Button ``Princess Ring``:

Create 1 rings with the Princess Ring pattern from Beads and Button using Delica Seed Beads and Crystals.

Materials: You purchase the beads and stringing materials.

Bookmarks:

Create one bookmark, this class will cover basics such as crimping and adding the findings.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Fix you own jewellery:

Learn how to revive one of  your broken piece of BEADED jewellery.

Maximum of 4 people, project needs to be approved by us prior to reserving the class.

Beads Stitching Classes:

Herringbone Stitch Bracelet:

Create a bracelet using seed beads and the herringbone stitch. In this class learn how to make you own clasp with beads. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Rope Herringbone Stitch Bracelet:

Create a tube bracelet using seed beads and the herringbone stitch. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Materials: You purchase the beads, stringing materials and wire bracelet.

Spiral Stitch Necklace:

Create earrings and a necklace using 2 different sizes of seed beads and small pearl (or your choice of substitute). In the class you will only have time to start the necklace.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Flat Peyote Stitch Bracelet:

Create a one inch wide bracelet with your choice of Delica beads. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Materials: You purchase the beads and stringing materials.

Peyote Spiral Stitch Lariat:

Create a lariat to the length and beads of your choice. In the class you will only have time to create a small portion of the necklace plus one side of tassels.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Right Angle Weave Bracelet:

Create a bracelet with your choice of seed beads and crystal bicons. In this class learn how to make you own clasp with beads and you will only have time to create half of the bracelet.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing materials.

Criss-Cross Bracelet:

Create bracelet with your choice of 4mm  Czech  beads and Delica size 11 seed beads. Need to know how to use crimper pliers.

Materials: You purchase the beads, findings and stringing wire.

General class information:

• See above calendar for class descriptions and dates.

• The classes will be held in our store classroom. (Moody Beads map)

• No experience is required for any of the basic classes. Only level 2 classes will specify prerequisites.

• Minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 8 people per class.

• You must register 2 days in advance.

• Full payment, when required, 2 days before the class is required to reserve your spot, this can be done over the phone with M/C and Visa, and in person we also take interact (debit). This is a non-refundable, non transferable to another class,  payment if you can't make it send a friend in your place. (unless we cancel the class because of not enough participants).

• Classes for 12 years of age and older.

• All Material must be purchased at  Moody Beads during the class.

• You need to bring a magnifier or your glasses if needed for close up work. All other necessary tools are supplied for class work.

Children Birthday Parties:

• Children must be over 7 years of age, if 10 children 2 adults must be present with the group.

• The party room accommodate 12 people max.

• The party will be for 2 hours.

• Maximum of 10 kids per party.

• $15 per child for 6 kids or less, $10 per child for 7 kids or more.

• Your choice of anklets, bracelets, earrings or necklaces,  bead kit for each child is extra. Kits will vary in price.

Adult Group Parties:

• $45 dollars to rent the party room for 2 hours and have one staff available to you.

• Minimum purchase per person is $10.
