Wire Jig linked Necklace,level 2: Construct chain links with the help of a jig and your choice of coloured copper wire. Herringbone Stitch Bracelet, level 2: Create a bracelet using seed beads and the herringbone stitch. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class. Flat Peyote Stitch Bracelet, level 2: Create a half inch wide bracelet with your choice of Delica beads. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class. Herringbone Flower Advance Beading: Create a flower using your choice of seed beads. In this class you will learn how to increase your tubular herringbone to make it fan out. You need to know and have practiced the herringbone stitch and already know how to end/add a thread as these will not be shown in the class. These classes are given by Saniki Creations' Penny Cheng. Learn the ancient art of weaving jump rings to form beautiful jewellery pieces. Also known as Chainmaille. Originally used for Armor, Chainmaille is now also used to create bracelets, necklaces, earrings and even accessories such as bookmarks, cell phone charms. One project will be will be taught in each class, two if time permits. Various weaves like the European 4 in 1, Box chain, Byzantine, Persian, Japanese Flowers, plus variations of weaves will be presented with specific Levels of skill. Students should have a basic understanding of opening and closing of jump rings. Bring a magnifier or your glasses as close up work is involved.
