Classes are FREE, you need to purchase all materials from Moody Beads on the day of the class. $7 non refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in any class which is then transferred towards your materials. For more detail read General class information.

Outside teachers classes will cost you a basic fee (which can vary depending on the teachers, see class schedule calendar for more details.). This fee will be your non refundable deposit which is required to reserve your spot. You will still need to purchase all materials from Moody Beads on the day of the class. For more detail read General class information.

A minimum of 3 people per class is required for the class to take place, please register at the latest 2 days before the class.

Bracelets:

Elastic Bracelet:

Macramé Knotting on Suede Bracelet :

Create a 1/2 inch wide reversible bracelet by knotting 2 different colour suede together. This class covers one macramé knot and wire coiling.

Hammered Earrings Links, Level 2:

Learn the basic of wire hammering by creating 4 different pairs of links to create earrings. This is a level 2 class, you need to know how to do the loop to hang the wire on the earring hook, as we will not cover this is the class.

Coiled Earrings, Level 2:

Create 2 pairs of earring with your choice of beads and wire. In this class learn how to create a long wire coil with the help of the wire Gizmo. You will need to already know how to "loop and coil" to register for this class.

Create on pair of small hoop earrings and one pair dangly tubes earrings, both in silver colour. You will need to already know how to do earring loops to participate in this class.

Double stranded Knotted Silk Cord Necklace:

Make a knot in your silk cord to separate a small cluster of glass beads, learn what findings to use to close a silk cord necklace.

3 Strand Floating Stringing Wire Necklace:

Create a necklace using crimps to space out your choice of beads along the stringing wire. This class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding clasp.

Wire Jig linked Necklace:

Construct chain links with the help of a jig and your choice of coloured copper wire. Incorporate beads between the links to create a flowing necklace to your preferred length. Also create you own clasp using the same wire.

Stone wrapping Necklace:

Create interchangeable wrapped pendants, learn  how to wrap a non drilled stone with wire in order to create a pendant.  This class will cover basics such as, suede crimping, stone wrapping and bail creating and adding a clasp.

Create a hemp necklace by knotting it and adding beads.

5 Drops and Pearl Necklace:

Create a necklace using 5 drops and pearls. In this class learn how to create your own wire bail to hang the drops from the necklace.

Bead Wrapping Necklace:

Create a necklace using colour coated copper wire and beads. In this class you will learn the loop and coil and how to incorporating a wrapping of the beads in that technique.

Beading Chain Necklace set:

Create a classy yet simple necklace and earrings set using a beading chain instead of beading wire of thread. In this class you will learn basic crimping.

Learn how to create wire cones to decorate the top of the beads for the pendant part of the necklace.

Create the front part of the necklace with wire and beads. In this class learn how to twisted the beads on the wire and create a slightly disorganised necklace and learn to wire loop and coil.  In this class you will need to already know how to close leather crimps as this will not be shown in the class.

Wire Wrapped Tubes and Beads Pendant:

Create a unique pendant silver coloured tubes, chain, wire and beads. In this class you will learn wire wrapping incorporated in the loop and coil.

2 Strands Pearl Necklace:

Create a 2 strand necklace using pearls, crystals and metal spacers, finish the necklace with silver or antique brass ring and your choice of suede.

Create a rosary with your choice of pearls, the cross and the connector are only available in silver. You will not be finishing this project during the class.

Create one key chain and one cell phone or zipper pull chain with your choice of beads. this class will cover basics such as crimping, looping and adding a finding.

Rope Herringbone Stitch Bracelet:

Create a tube bracelet using seed beads and the herringbone stitch. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Create earrings and a necklace using 2 different sizes of seed beads and small pearl (or your choice of substitute). In the class you will only have time to start the necklace.

Create a one inch wide bracelet with your choice of Delica beads. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Create a tube bracelet using seed beads and the herringbone stitch. You might not have time to complete the bracelet during this class.

Create a flower using the herringbone tube "plus", with 5 seed beads of you choice.

Chainmaille Jewellery:

These classes are given by Saniki Creations' Penny Cheng.

Learn the ancient art of weaving jump rings to form beautiful jewellery pieces. Also known as Chainmaille. Originally used for Armor, Chainmaille is now also used to create bracelets, necklaces, earrings and even accessories such as bookmarks, cell phone charms.

One project will be will be taught in each class, two if time permits. Various weaves like the European 4 in 1, Box chain, Byzantine, Persian, Japanese Flowers, plus variations of weaves will be presented with specific Levels of skill. Students should have a basic understanding of opening and closing of jump rings. Bring a magnifier or your glasses as close up work is involved.

Class cost: $7 plus materials

• The classes will be held in our store classroom. (Moody Beads map)

• No experience is required for any of the basic classes. Only level 2 classes will specify prerequisites.

• Minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 6 to 8 people per class.

• You must register 2 days in advance.

• NEW! A non refundable deposit of $7 is required to reserve your spot in a class, which is then transferred towards your materials.

• NEW! The non refundable deposit can be paid cash, interact, or over the phone with credit cards.

• NEW! If class is cancelled by Moody Beads this deposit can be transferred to an other class or refunded.

• NEW! Classes for 13 years of age and older, parent must be present until 15 years of age.

• NEW! Weekdays afternoon summer classes open to 7 years old and older, 7 years old to 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Adults with no children are also welcomed, just be aware that there might be children as young as 7 years old in these classes.

• NEW! Private lessons also available $40 for 2 hours, plus all material need to be purchased at Moody Beads.

• All material must be purchased at  Moody Beads on day of the class.

• You need to bring a magnifier or your glasses if needed for close up work. All other necessary tools are supplied for class work.

Children Birthday Parties:

• NEW! Available booking party hours for the summer, Sundays all day, Tuesdays to Fridays afternoon and evening.

• Children must be over 7 years of age, if 10 children 2 adults must be present with the group.

• The party room accommodate 12 people max.

• The party will be for 2 hours.

• Maximum of 10 kids per party.

• $15 per child for 6 kids or less, $10 per child for 7 kids or more.

• Your choice of anklets, bracelets, earrings or necklaces,  bead kit for each child is extra. Kits will vary in price.
